“Such a lovely couple of days away at the farm! Felt instantly relaxed in the beautiful surroundings. Cathy made us feel really welcome and went out of her way for us. Great log fire at night and enjoyed drinking wine under the stars. The hayrides and animal feedings were a highlight for our son. Thank you, Cathy! We had a wonderful time :)”

“Just home from a perfect 3 nights at Gumleaf Cottage - our first farm stay experience did not fail to deliver! Cathy was a beautiful, humble host and her cottage is very quaint and authentic. The kids loved the daily interactions with bunnies, goats, ponies and more - collecting fresh eggs was a particular favourite! The grown ups enjoyed evening wine by the cosy log fire!
Local area was great too though we really didn’t need to venture far - there was ample to keep us entertained on the farm!
Our kids were quick also to bond with the adorable farm dogs Tux and Teddy - and we mustn’t forget Oreo the guinea pig who got lots of attention too!

“We had a lovely long weekend at Cathy's farm stay. The kids loved feeding the animals morning and night while riding the quad bike and Cathy gave them a great horse riding experience.

Great location (only 30 minutes from home). The accommodation was well set up with the open fire place a lovely touch. We will definitely be back. Thanks Cathy!”

“Just had our second stay at Gumleaf Cottage and it was just as fantastic as our last stay. Cathy was so friendly and thoughtful to accommodate us and our son just loves spending the whole time on the farm. Equally my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire and walking around with the animals. We will be back!”

“Gumleaf Cottage was just what we needed to slow down and reconnect with nature (and ourselves). The kids did the haystack ride/animal feeding tour every morning, played with the world’s friendliest dogs and cats, trampolined all day in the fresh air and sunshine and slept like logs after. The animals are very well looked after - it’s clear Cathy’s love for them. We’ve done a number of these farm stays and this has been the best one yet. Thank you Cathy and team”

“Our stay at the farm is truly memorable. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable, with all the basic necessities provided. Cathy has even prepared complimentary fruits, pancake mix and snacks for us. Our kids really enjoyed riding on the wagon, feeding the animals,, collecting the freshly laid eggs and playing with the dog. Will definitely come back if we have the chance!”
